This was the day. We spent hours going over every detail involving the engine. This was satisfying to review all I have done to this point. I had already pre lubed the engine and during a starter test and oil pressure and fuel pressure tests earlier, found an oil leak or two that required tightening a couple oil return line fittings that weeped afterwards. I offer a snippet of the 3rd start on this day. This is a 700 hour engine and we took three starts to satisfy ourselves the engine performed as expected. First was a 3 minute run. 2nd was a 5 minute run. 3rd was a 12 minute run including the constant speed prop being excersized through its range. I downloaded the skyview ems stats and poured over them to satisfy myself the engine performed as expected. More later on that.
