Brief Description: Set Fuselage on its gear permanently
I had a lot of options to continue working today. I chose to get the aircraft off the wooden cradle its been on for years. I took a lift on the engine mount, releasing pressure on the framework. I disassembled the front half of the cradle and removed it. Then I lifted the tail out of the rear saddle and swung it to the side. Finally, I tipped the rear saddle and connecting wood on its side and maneuvered it out from under the aircraft. I took great pleasure in disassembling the entire cradle and hauled it to the dumpster nearby. So much room in there now. Wow. Need to add air to the tires next. Then, on to the center tunnel work. I do need to make sure my RV7 center tunnel modifications still allow connection between the main spar and the inner two floor stiffeners in order to dampen vibration on those two, just like the outer two floor stiffeners. The original RV6 design utilized brackets attached to the spar and the center floor stiffener angles to hold up the fuel selector mechanism.

Admire my RV6-A permanently sitting on its own gear finally.
