Brief Description:  Torque Main Spar Nuts

Now I can begin inserting final bolts and also start torquing the nuts. Before beginning that, I had one AN3-16A bolt that was prevented from coming through the steel gear weldment hole from the aft side on the lower outermost spar hole on the right side. I felt it hesitate ever so slightly as I tapped it into place. Sure enough, the thread got slightly damaged coming through the steel gear weldment and I could not start a nut onto it. Had to remove two close-by side weldment bolts so I could get a drift pin straight onto the bolt and tap it backwards out of the hole. After that I had to rig up a special reamer to ensure the hole was uniform size throughout all the pieces.

Looking down at the 4 bolts into the fuselage side. Left 2 bolts were removed for ease.
