Shortened the wiring and crimped knife joints for the heated pitot wires. Shrink wrapped each end and shrink wrapped the joined connection too. Coiled and ziptied the wiring to the top of the control unit. That is mounted above the wing inspection cover opening. Tested the heat and it got real warm, real fast. Connected the tubing to the pitot. Being tight quarters, I chose to use the uiniversal rule of hand tightening the B Nuts until contact with the flare and then marked a reference line on the coupling. Tightened the couplings 1 1/2 flats on the B nut. Closed it up and reinstalled the covers. Done. I also added one last nutplate to the bottom left fuselage overhang skin. It will mate to the very rear of the wing fairing underneath the wing, That gives the fairing a secure connection at the very end of the run.
Tightly held connection. Nice fit.
Final installation. All is good now.
Added nutplate to forward edge of lower fuselage overhang.
