Maybe I missed the instruction on trimming the upper flap skin near the fuselage so you can install the flap. For me it was a progressive trimming effort. Eventually I reached the point where I could actually mount the flap and insert the hinge wire. Did I say hinge lubricant helps? A lot. Especially after a year off. Next will be final trimming on flap edge, riveting the hinge to the wing (clecoed now) and drilling the flap attach opening in fuselage skin.
Can't even mount it until the trimming happens next to fuselage.
Flush fit against fuselage. Next I'll smooth and gap that trimmed edge.
