Brief Description:  Final Move to Airport Hangar

Well, after a long hiatus, I am back at it again. Thankfully, I have spent recent months moving all equipment and aircraft to my hangar at KCRG airport. Its a T hangar and will need some planning for locating tools, parts, bins, etc. All that was accomplished with a UHaul open trailer. Several trips over several days. I finally used a auto hauler service flatbed to load up my fuselage. As you might know, wheelbase is at just about 7 feet. Flat bed was 8 feet. With care on a flat surface(street), not sloped driveway, we pulled the fuselage up. The tail gets really close to street during the loading. Doing it in the driveway wouldn't have worked. Secured it and off we went to airport. 30mph max. Driver remarked how many people were slowing to take pictures on the 5 mile trip. We made it just fine. Funny, but the driver was used to autos being tied down without movement. He was nervous about the airplane wiggling around on the tricycle gear. I explained that in the air, it is solid. On the ground, it is supposed to wiggle to account for landing strip differences.
