Manual Reference:  Prime Rear Spar
Brief Description:  Finish last priming of wing spar

Rolled the wings outside and cleaned them with dawn dish soap and a sponge. Rinsed away a few year's worth of dirt buldiup and scotch brighted the rear of the rear spar plus the nearby wing skins and flap/aileron brackets. Wiped down with degreaser, taped the bracket bolt holes, and the aileron control rod holes. Then, finally, I primed the last remaining section of the wings. A couple of coats did it. Finished spraying a couple of other parts again, like the aileron control tubes, seat belt cable hold down brackets, etc. Took as much time to cleani up the paint gun, mixing container, etc as it did to actually paint. Oh well. Done. Done.. Next up is to rivet the outer bottom wing skins, the flap brace, the aileron gap seal and then I can finally put my attention to the fuselage. Well, actually, I have to cut a hole in the left wing skin for the 2nd landing light and mount all that stuff, and I have to enlarge the existing conduit holes to run larger conduit for all the electrical goodies. ( Heated Pitot, Xenon landing light, AOA, LED position/strobe light). THEN, I am done with the wing. Wait. I need to fit the wing tips but I'll wait on that until after I fit the wings to the fuselage and get the incidence set so I can fit the flaps to final position.
See what I mean about never really being done....
