Manual Reference:  Fuel Tank Rib 5
Brief Description:  Install Fuel Tank Rib 5 -2

Finally got to rib 5 in the fuel tank. Same deal as before. 55grams proseal (50 white 5 black) and it worked out perfectly. You end up spending 1 hour preparing surfaces with MEK, making the batch, cleaning the rivets, spreading proseal on inner tank skin and on rib flange, installing and clecoing rib every other hole, dabbing each rivet in proseal, inserting and riveting each rivet, putting used clecoes in coffee can with some MEK in bottom. Then you spend another hour pulling off the blue 3M Painters tape, use the 4"x4" cut paper towels with MEK to clean the proseal off the bucking bar, rivet gun, cleco pliers, inner tank skins, rib web on both sides, outer tank skins along flush rivet line, taking care not to be too aggressive with MEK on the rivet heads themselves else you wash away the proseal under the rivet heads.
One more rib and then the rear baffle. Can't wait. It takes minimum two days for the proseal to cure enough to be handled.
