Brief Description:  Prosealed one more rib

Mounted and dismounted the tank twice today. Testing the leading wing edge to the leading tank edge fit. Everything looks ok so far. Removed tank, removed rear baffle and rib #4. Cleaned mating surfaces with MEK. Whipped up 55 grams proseal (5 black 50 white). Gave the rivets an MEK wash and dry. I coated the tank surface (outlined with 3M blue tape) then coated the rib flange and inserted and clecoed every other hole. Riveting went fine using the tungsten bucking bar and flush fivet set using 40lbs of working air. Because the outer tank skin gets proseal smears from riveting, it was always difficult to feel if the flush rivet was set properly. Your glove fingers are proseal sticky, the skin is sticky. What I did was to use the silicone cushion ring that encircles the flush rivet set and dragged it across the rivets after setting. If it caught or hesitated going over one, I set that one a little more. It worked the a charm. Drag it both directions to check opposite sides of each rivet head. I have to say it. I hate the cleanup part. Proseal on the cleco pliers, rivet gun, bucking bar, skins inside and out, rib web, set-rivet measuring tool, you, It takes an hour to clean up. I used to dread mixing proseal. Now, its a piece of cake to mix and spread.
