In the end of March 2017, I flew up to Minnesota, rented a 16' truck and purchased this project. Its an EZ Flyer and it was constructed by Vernon Clobes. Its comes in the form of a kit and many of the parts are fabricated from the raw materials provided. As you can see from the crate pictures, only a few major components were done at the factory. The bigest help from the factory is in the preshaped leading edges and the prewelded airframe structure. Not to mention keeping the design simple and light. Vern stopped working on it, but was pretty far along. I felt sad to take something he has worked on so very long, but I also understand how hard it is to finish dreams when you race against time.
