Brief Description: Fitting rudder stiffeners and building skeleton
Trimmed the rudder stiffeners and clicoed them on the R-801PP skin. Drilled ols the skin to stifferen holes to #40. Clecoed the R606, R607 and R-608 reinforcement plates to the R-802 rudder spar. Fabricated the R-717 and Both R-716 bottom attach strips. Trimmed R-710. Enlarged the bottom most rod end hole in the forward flange of R-704 to 3/8"diameter. Clecoed R-704, R-405PD, R710, R-717 and the platenut that will hold the rod end bearing to R-802PP. Prepared R-703 tip rib and clecoed it to R-802. Enlarged the holes that attach R-703 to R-802 to #30. Clecoed th R-713 counterbalance skin on R-703. Flutes R-703 so the holes on the forward face of R-713 match those in the forward flange of R-703. Drilled the holes to final size that attach R-713 to R-703. Drilled to final size all the prepunched holes in the R-802 spar web Drilled to final size all the holes that attach R-710 to R-405PD and R704
