Brief Description: Flange was cured and now to trim and bolt on
I had problem with the funnel moving when doing the 3 bid lay-ups for the flanges. So out came the Spot-Lite bondo (because it sets up fast) and got some on my finger and into the spark plug hole and over to the bottom on the funnel to the plenum. I applied in two spots and let set up. After 15 minutes I was able to do the 3 bid flange lay-ups with out moving parts. I really sanded the top of the funnel so that the bid would curve around the top, it worked out good. Peel-ply was added were I could.
Once it had set 24 hours I drilled the flange before pushing it off the duct tape. The nuts plates were riveted on (rivets counter sunken and filled) and the flange was cut and sanded to shape. I then bolted on to finish the curing to the right shape.
