Brief Description:  3 bid on the foam from the NACA outlet

I got the foam taped up with aircraft composite release medium (duct tape) and got it on to the plane and found out that after adding the wetted out glass that the tape was not strong enough to hold up in place so sting to the doors were added to hold up.

Now I did the wet outs like this: I laid out 2 fiber glass 6”x 18” bye directional strips on plastic that was on 1.5” white foam to hold the heat.
Next the resin went on and a heat gun was used to flow out and completely saturate the bid not to wet, then the last one went down to soak up the extra resin and again the heat gun was used to walk the resin from one end to the other, it looked like vacuum fusion taking place.
Now the bid is very hot so off the white foam it comes and I walk around the shop holding the plastic until it is cool off and I feel no heat when it come close to my cheek. I then place it onto the sticky resin that was applied to the duct tape 20 minutes before (you need to keep brushing the resin on the foam because it beads up on the tape) now the glass goes on and the plastic comes off. The plastic goes back to the white foam and then I stipple the glass down. It hangs upside down like magic and never lifts off. I did a small section underneath to complete the loop the same way and never look back; well, I did some peel-ply. I will let set for 2 days before it comes off.
