Brief Description: Prep for window and glue in place.
It was time to cut the window to size. Duct tape was added to both sides of the glass and positioned after the opening was ready for the glass to be traced out for cutting. I moved the window down ½” taped in place and traced the opening onto the tape for cutting. I added ½” on to the other 3 sides so now the window will have a border all the way around for mounting. Out came the die-grinder and sanded a ¾ “ step for the window to sit on and try to bring flush with out side of the door, the window got some grinding too. It was time to mix up some epoxy, milled fiber and cab-o-sil to cover the prepped areas. The window was placed and weights added to hold down for curing. Acetone showed up to clean up the mess inside and out.
