Brief Description: Primed bottom wing one more time
I got the wings ready for priming and mixed up the Smooth Prime and got out the water born spray gun and applied 2 coats on the bottom wings and 3 on the winglets. I had a few runs on the top of the winglets as I was spraying down near the floor with sanded out very easily. I finally got to marking out the bottom aileron witch is wider then the top and got out the air hack saw for the cut. The wings are now ready for the flip to finish the top. The speed brake on the bottom got some attention as well. I could spend a lot of time on this filling and sanding but don’t know if I will do it or not.
The smooth prime is amazing stuff for sanding and filling. It is like spraying out a liquid bondo. I followed instructions with very light not wet coats (15-20 minuets between coats) and it built up just great. I let dry for 24 hours before sanding.
