Brief Description:  Vinyl on Pilot side strake baggage area done.

This is a very big job for sure doing the vinyl on the interior of the plane. The materials so far cost about $300.00 for the job and that’s a lot cheaper then paying someone to do this for me at a cost of over $ 2,000.00 give or take. It maybe not as fancy as others but will have to do for my world. I prepped the areas by sanding and try to eliminate bumps and stuff. Making the templates were very time consuming and the Pilot side was faster doing the lay out and cutting. I lost sleep over a way to hold the vinyl so I thought about using cardboard with masking tape loops on the face of the vinyl and applying in placing was much better. When the vinyl is in place and the glue sets for 15-20 minutes I rub with my finger to get the extra off at the joint area. I wipe down a few days later with acetone to remove any light film left behind. The side will be next and I need to pick up more contact cement for this.
