Brief Description:  Reinstall Nose gear guides

I was moving the plane and I don’t have the doweling safety hole made yet to secure the nose gear. I bumped the front wheel on the ground and down went the front of the plane. The nose wheel knocked of the nose gear guides on both sides.
This was one my first lay-ups made on the plane. I inspected the work and found insufficient sanding and glue stick used to hold into place prevented proper bonding.
The manual and building video tapes say to use the glue stick. DO NOT USE.
If you read this never use the glue stick on the construction of this plane. Use bondo to hold stuff in place as the resin will add hear to it. I now use Spotlite bondo for all applications from holding to small filling, the only way to go.

I then sanded everything extremely well, cleaned with acetone and floxed glued in place with 3 bids extending farther then the last time. The guides were then riveted to the fuselage when cured.
