It was time to cut the circle and I was to leave a section attached opposite the hinge and some how the attached area was in line with the cowling center. So I said shit and cut the rest of the circle and the door swung away. I duct taped in place and mixed up Spot Lite bondo and place a big glop opposite the hinge. Great stuff for holding things, it sets very fast and is extremely hard in 10 minutes. I then ground the back side and did a 4 bid lay-up to hold the door in pace when trimmed and sanded. The latch will be next for the door when it shows up.
