Brief Description:  Back seat slide rails were mounted to seats

If this was not my first plane things would have gone better. I centered everything, measured a few times and drilled the holes just to find out the things were not right with the seat rails when they were first made.

Thank goodness I got me a tig welder that will do aluminum, all the holes were welded closed on the long mounting brackets that bolts to the seats and this time I did things differently.
The seat brackets were put into place on the seats and marked, and then center punched and drilled.
The sliding rail was put into position on the seat brackets and marked, center punched and prepped for bolt up. This time I only had to run the drill through for clean up on 2 holes.

The front seats are not perfect as I had to file holes for the bolts to fit but I will not go back and chase 1/16 of and inch for perfection.

Now the hard points have to come out of the fuselage and be moved for the new seats, a job for tomorrow.
