Brief Description:  Work on installing seats

I spent time moving the hard points just to find out that the new seats would not fit. Out came the hard points and now relocated to accommodate the new Corbeau seats. 3 times in just a charm they say! I had to cut and remove foam to the outer fiberglass layer so the flox/micro balloons will adhere for maximum strength. I had everything bolted up and set down into place with door wedges to level. I let cure and 2 bids are now on top.

In this mounting configuration the rails are all the way back and the seat tilt cover comes right back to the carbon beam. My legs are almost straight out touching the pedals and all the way foreword my wife would fit in the seat perfectly. The tilt foreword tilt works well and does not hit the front carbon beam.

Now the mounting flat bar that bolts to the hard point was cut and welded to achieve 2.5” in the front and 1.5” in the back. This gives me 4” of clearance for the top of my head with the seat tilted back 6”. If more head room is needed I will cut the flat bar down some more.
