Brief Description: Get fuselage ready for leg sockets
There was a lot of work to get the plane ready for the sockets to go in to place.
Had to trim the fuselage for leg clearance for maximum up and down movement. The sockets were fitted with wiggle room so the fuselage goes up and down left to right. The bushings had to be turned on a lathe because the carbon fiber was added to the legs. The aluminum boots and spindles were assembled so the plane is on the level ground.
The legs go in from the out side starting with the top going first facing forward, then twist the leg down and move outward to the bolt hole and slip in the bolt from the back going forward for now.
I will now level the plane from left to right and glass in the gear leg sockets. There is more glass work to do in this area so I will keep working on finishing up the back end.
