Brief Description:  Engine mount back on engine

It was time to get the motor mount back into place on the engine. WOW it was so far out that I had to phone Ron at Western Aviation here in Grand Forks and talk about the motor mount. Ron said do not remove if at all possible and I told him that it was removed for welding. Ron said to start with one bolted up and then use aliment punches to get started with the second one and I wish you luck James.
I sharpened one on my Dad’s drift pins and hammered it in which moved the mount over I clamped and used a bigger pin to move over one more time and now the bolt was able to go into place. I had to use a lighted mirror to see were the blot was and by turning it the bolt flopped and I pushed the bolt into place on the bottom mount.
I then cut a grove in the screw end of the C clamp to stop it from slipping off the bracket that was bolted to the block. The C clamp pulled the mount right into place and the spacer was next followed by the outer rubber and washes and nut.

I was so happy that this big job was done. Just need to put the wires back in place and remount the engine to the fuselage.
I will touch up the motor mount paint when in place..
