Brief Description: Get engine out of crate and flox firewall stainles
I finally got the engine out of the crate and in the air tonight. I had to use the beam in the house to do the first lift. I drilled a hole through the beam and used a ½ “solid rod for the strap to go onto and the chain host lifted like it was nothing. Now it was time to bring in the engine lifting crane to get the engine lifted into place for measuring and then mounting. The chain on the engine is to long, I will need to shorten so the engine will be in the right place over the mark on the floor from the plumb bob. I will be mounting the engine 3/8” high to allow for gravity. The motor mount came with the engine and it should be very close to were it must be.
