Brief Description: T88 structural with milled fiber and flox on hinge
I started early today to get the hinges glued onto the aileron with Structural T88 resin mixed with milled fiber and flox. I sanded the surfaces with 40 grit and dry fit the ailerons and found out that the outboard hinge needed to be trimmed so that it wouldn’t bottom out at the base of the aileron. I glue gunned foam behind the hinges to push them out a small amount and applied the resin to the hinge and ailerons, in to position they went and I worked them back and forth to flow out the resin. I had to block up the center because they were sagging and they came into line nicely.
Now Cynthia’s list:
Cynthia picked up a granite counter top on the Face book Grand Forks Bye and Sell in town here a few years ago and now it is time to build the base for it and install it on the deck. It will be black when done and the top is a sandy marble color. The only way to get things done is to have the tools for the job.
