Brief Description:  Wheel well flange clean up and fit Fuel bulkhead

To night I got the wheel well off the top strake with my putty knife and channel locks for the wood blocks and sanded off all the extra bondo that was used to hold it in place. I cut the flange to 1 ½” and sanded out all the sharp edges and Dacron fibers lest behind when removed.
Now it was time to work on the baggage fuel bulkhead. I marked the floor on both sides of the bulkhead with a black pen and removed. I then measured up to the upper strake in its correct spot and marked on the lower strake. The measurements were moved to the bulkhead for cutting. The bulkhead was cut with my hand hack saw and I had to add some to the front. I really like bondo for adding cut off foam it work great with the foam removed in the corners and this adds that extra strength along side the glass cloth. Set time for the bondo is 5 minuets and you can start working on the item. All the bondo I use is covered with 2 layers of glass cloth (Bid) of Micro in the corners and glass on top.
