Brief Description:  Carbon Beams installed

To night was a good night. I got going and forgot that I was to be at the Fire hall to help with auditing the books. I drilled out the wooden hard point block that was Structurally Adhesive into place yesterday. I counter drilled with a big bit, again it was ¾” so the threads are protruding ¾ “. I sanded the fuselage and pended in the location for the beams mixed up the Structural Adhesive and coated the bolt that I gnarled in the drill press with a file to have the Structural Adhesive stick to and get a good hold. Now it was time to cover the bolt and put some on the pen line in the fuselage. Did the Pilot side first and then placed the beam into it location. The excess Structural Adhesive was smoothed out to form a filet weld in the corner. I will be able to remove the clamps and get ready for the lay-ups when set.
