Brief Description:  Time to heat the doors to fit

Well I’m not imprested with the pilot door!!! The co-pilot is book perfect but what happened to the Pilot door will be a mystery . I wedge the door and strapped it in places and added heat to make the door fit better to the fueslage. I now have a little body work to make the gap to 1/8" +. This will happen later after the locking system is installed and sanding is done.

The thing that I noticed from fiber glass/ resin to steel is that steel will require twice the distance to bend under heat. Glass will shape as is when cooled. I over adjusted the door and had to pull it back and the heating process was only 1.5 hours to make the final heat adjustment.

I’m happy with the outcome and body filler will make the ship look great when done.
