The fuselage area for the hinge is not perfectly level so here the manual and Video CD tells you to level the hinge on the fuselage roof to stop twisting and binding of the hinges. The hinges were duct taped and a bed of flox made for the bed. Once the flox cured I then did a 2 bid lay-up on the roof and clecoed the hinges into place. Now I will be able to tighten the hinge screws with out twisting the hinge.
