Well it’s been a while since my last post. I ran into a problem. I completed the elevator and was going to put them together with the horn. What I found out was that my horn was not straight. The plans call for a straight horn and the one that was sent to me was not. So I emailed them to ask about it and they told me that you just need to bend the rib roots to fit. The problem with that was I had already drilled the holes in the skin. So after a few days of thinking about it I had 3 options. One is to have a very crooked tail, not going to happen. Two, was to drill new holes and have an extra set running now the elevator, not a pretty picture. So I broke down and just ordered new skins and ribs. So today I started to redo the elevators. But this time I started with the horn. Just $250.00 ops. I'm hoping that by the end of the weekend I will be back on track.
