Brief Description: Fuselage riveting #8 / Fuel System Installation
- Back riveted the stiffeners and throttle quadrant angle to the left and right forward side skins. - Located and drill 3 keeper rivet holes for the forward cabin fresh air NACA scoop. Again, on the advice of Bruce Edwards, figured it would be alot easier to attach the thing now than after the skin is installed. I'll pro-seal it on tomorrow. - Since I know that I will be installing a carbureted engine, I took the advice of the instructions and decided to start installing the fuel system now. - Manufactured the spacers for the fuel selector installation according to the instructions. - Installed the fittings to the fuel selector valve. - Fit, match drilled, deburred, countersunk as needed, primed, and installed the mounting brackets for the fuel pump and fuel filter assemblies.
Backriveted the stiffeners and started the installation of the naca scoop on the left fwd skin
Fuel pump on the left (fwd of gear tower), filter on right (aft)
