Brief Description: Left Wing #32 - Fitting Pitot Mast
Fitted the SafeAir1 Pitot mast. Used the provided template to lay out the hole and took my time to open it up. It was a pretty straightforward job, SafeAir provided some pretty good instructions. In trying to determine where I would want to install the Dynon Pitot Heat controller module, it needs to be near the pitot, but I certainly want it installed in a way that doesn't interfere with the aileron pushrod/bellcrack assembly in the adjacent bay.
Once I had the pitot mast drilled and ready, I cleaned it, put the scotchbrite pad to it, wiped it down with naptha, then used some self etching primer on it.
