Brief Description: Left Wing #5 - Started fitting wing skins
Cut and match drilled the wing walk doubler plate. Hung the the top inboard skin. Started to hang the outboard skin and realized I had a problem. The skin goes beyond the end rib about 1 inch and I didn't have enough room on my wing stand holder mechanism. The good thing is that I had room to slide the wing towards the root end and fit a holder extenstion between the angle and the wing. What a pain.
The problem was here. The skin sticks out beyond the end rib.
At first I tried to notch out the angle, then realized the threaded rod adjuster would be in the way.
So I fashioned an extension plate from scrap and slid the wing towards the inboard stand.
