Well, I worked up the gumption to make the first cut into that beautiful anodized spar. It got easier after that first one, but you can't help but be extra super careful working on such a pretty piece of metal !!
I started attaching the fuel tank attach nutplates onto the spar. I used Van's method of fiist drilling and countersinking the nutplate attach holes, riveting on the nutplate, the countersinking the screw hole letting the nutplate be the guide for the countersink pilot. Works great!!
