Completed the skin riveting and proceeded to roll the leading edge. Boy was that a pain in the rear. I used a broom stick and some duct tape like the manual says. After dorking with it for quite awhile, I decided to try only one section at a time. It would have been nice to have someone else helping me. After getting it formed, I drilled out the holes, deburred, and installed the blind rivets. The leading edge is not as perfect as I would like it to be, but it turned out OK.
I rolled the outside leading edge skin with the slick tool from Cleaveland so it would lie flat against the other skin. It works like a champ!!
I'm going to build me the slick little bearing installation tool that Sam Buchanan has on his website tommorow. I don't think I'll be able to pass up the chance to install the rudder on the vert stab.....we'll see....
Leading edge wrestled into place and cleco'd. Ready for drilling and deburring
