Brief Description:  Drilled the Left Horizontal Stab

Put some pieces together and had something that resembled an airplane part. Even Payden thought so. Assembled the left stab, cleco'd on the skin, set and drilled the inboard ribs and splice angles, and drilled out all the holes on the skin. The match holed kit is AWESOME! I can't imagine how much more time and effort it would take to lay out all the holes and drill them out. So far I am very pleased with Van's product, plans, and construction manual. Finished it up between fixing dinner, cleaning up, and putting the kids to bed....my typical evening. Next up is the right stab, then it will be time to tear it all apart and start the deburring, dimpling, and primer processes.
