These pics of the top of the elevator show the orange peel that needs to be cut and buffed. When doing the bottom of the elevator, I got too aggressive and went through the base color in a couple of spots. That's why I did the bottom first. Now I get to learn how to repair mistakes in paint. I don't think it's that hard, just time consuming. I think I'll have to scuff the area and the surrounding clear, respray the base and clear, cut, and buff again. Stay tuned for the repair.
