I reinstalled the panel support and the fuel console to determine where I was going to mount the parking brake. Arion puts it on thepanel support lip (with a backing plate) above the pilots knees. With my long legs and big EFIS, I'm not sure I like that location. My favorite spot is on the right side of the fuel console. That will give clearance for a little knob and will swing up and out of the way when the parking brake is released.
I can't mount it yet because the fuel console edge has b=not been bent. Because this is always in sight, I'm going to have it done on a brake so that the line is crisp. Hey, there's a tool I don't have that would have been handy a couple of times already. #Birthday? #Father's Day? We'll see.
