The fuel flanges that thread into the fuel tanks bottomed out and were not square to the leading edge. This means that they needed to be turned back a bit. However, they were in so tight that trying to loosten them boogered up my flange turning tool (wooden block). So, I tapered the block and made it a bit smaller so that I could use thin aluminum angle on two corners. This kept the tool from boogering and loostened the flanges. Now, they are not tight when they are square, so I added a bit of thread loc and squared them until they almost bottomed out (all the way possible and still square). Before final installation, I vacuumed the wood splinters out of the fuel tanks.
I had not drilled the right wings fuel sump to full size yet, so I knocked that out and stricked it off the final punch list. I'll install the sumps after the tanks are washed out, I need to wash them out because I don't know what other trash may be in there. They should be pretty clean because they were just sloshed with sealer, but better safe than sorry.
