I started by adding several more match drilled holes for clecos to hold the tip to the sing while the flox cured overnight. Then, I greased the clecos so they souldn't stick to the flox. Finally, I wetted out the mating surfaces of the tips and the wings, mixed up some structural flox, applied a way too thick layer and clecoed the tips into place. Then, I cleaned up most of the flox that oozed out of the joint and cleco holes. Like I said, more must be better; more flox, more holes, more clecos,... This tip is solid!
I cranked up the factory heat to keep it warm overnight as the flox cured. It's starting to get cold in KY.
Why buy all of those clecos if your not going to use them?
