The surface of the boots and pants has tons of voids and bad spots. Thisis surprising because of the great finish on all of the pther parts. These are really not good.
The first step to repair them is to chip out all of the bad spots containing loose fhips. once that's done, I sanded off the gloss so that the filler will stick. I'll probably need to cover the entire pieces in a light coat of filler and then sand 90% of it off.
These are such cool parts that they will get a lot of attention, so they need to look good.
