I removed the straps holding the canopy against the frame. Great bond with the frame. I'm very happy about this except that the canopy sits on top of the expanding foam bed. The idea was to give a solid bed for the fiberglass skins to bond to and now there is a void the thickness of the canopy. I should have waited to squirt the foam. I'll need to add more and cut is flush again.
The canopy is pretty rigid now. I can only imagine how solid it will be once the skins are bonded on.
I also spent a few minutes adding filler to the spine of the fuselage.
