Used aluminum tape to minimize hole in top of boot. Custom fit to gear swing.
The hole can be reduced if the top slopes down into the boot. This minimizes the size of the hole and still allows the gear to swing to the stop. It must slope down to not rub on the pant when the wheel turns.
