The nav antenna is going to be installed across the trailing edge of the HS. Arion cuts out the entire flange between the upper and lower surfaces. I cut access holes hoping that the antenna will slip through the holes to lay flat agains the TE. If not, I'll complete the cut on one side.
I drilled holes through the flange at the top and bottom of the slot. Then, I cut the hole out with the air powered body saw.
