Brief Description: Add shim to elevator hinge

The center hinge on the left side of the elevator rubbed against the elevator as it rotated, to solve this, I drilled out the hinge, fabricated a thin aluminum shim, match drilled the rivet holes, test fitted the shim and hinge to the elevator, The shim now moves easily.
THIS IS NOT IN THE MANUAL: It turns out that the factory not adds shims to all of the elevator hinges. This not only makes them work more smoothly, iy pushed the screw hole a bit farther forward and, if your elevator is like mine, helps to compensate for the bow in the left elevator. This bow caused my hinge screw hole to be to fat aft in the center hinge. It's not noticable until the timmerman washers are installed. The washers in the left elevator center hinge overlap the gap between the elevator and the horizontal stab. It's a cosmetic only issue, but I wish I had known this before. Like I say, my next one is going to be great.
