The kit is now nothing like the manual. The new tail (I think it's called the MK2 tail) comes with much of the work listed in this section already completed. There is no need to cut the horizontal stabalizer and arrach the end to the elevator. This has all changed. The tail is now much easier than before, but trying to follow the builder's manual will make no sense. Other builder sites and conversations with Nick have been very helpful.
The trim tab is now already cut out of the right elevator and it is included in two peices, the top and the bottom. These must be fused together. More on that later. Right now, this entry is to document the three hours I spent trying to make the manual make sense with the parts I had.
FYI, after gaining confidence, the tail section was really pretty easy. Messy, but easy. More on that when we get to that work in August and September.
