After my first test flight (Nick, designer and El Chapo at Arion Aircraft, Shelbyville,TN flew the plane's first three flights and identified the same issue) I adjusted the flaps (right up, left down) due to a heavy left wing.
The aileron trim was programed in reverse, so I reprogramed that.
The ELT activated when I changed the transponder to altitude reporting mode. Hmmm????
Engine running too rich at idle. It sounds like a Harley untill rpm increases. Removed cowl and adjuted idle mixture adjustment rod.
Other issues identified include:
Noise in Garmin GTN 650 comm radio
Attitude Indicator shows 3 degrees climb when in level flight. Calibrated that in flight.
