Fired up the GTN 650 GPS/NAV/COM and configured most of the Skyview Network devices. Dave and I pushed the test bed into the backyard to get a clear view of the sky for the GPS. After configuring the ARINC-429, transponder, and both GPSs, we could see traffic climbing out of KLEX along with their altitude. Pretty cool.
Then, we donned a couple of headsets and verified that the intercom, radios, and headset jacks were functioning. We could not hear the neighbor's lawnmower 25 feet away until we removed our headsets. Big day in at the Airplane Factory.
