Brief Description:  Wiring - Dedicated music jack

I decided to add a dedicated music in line just in case my passenger wanted to play their own music through the headphones without bluetoothing their phone to the audio panel. This sounds easy, but not so much.

The audio panel is analog. A lightning plug is digital. I needed a converter that would allow the panel to accept the music input. After searching the web and learning (again) how much I don't know about this stuff, I called the guys who did a great job installing the new stereo in my Vette. The had a converter cable that will plug into a heaphone jack and a usb port and the appropriate cables.

To make this work, I'll just need to wire a music jack and a USB plug behind the panel. Then, I'll plugh the cable into each and install the new music port. The big question is where to install it. I don't want a bunch of wires running out of the panel. Maybe in the armrest or on the passenger side of the armrest.
