Fabricated the GTN 650 to ARINC 429 wiring harness connections. Wired the config module into the GPS. Geeze! These 28 guage wires are small and hard to work with. My stripper doesn't work on wires this small, so I had to do it manually. Since it's so small, must be careful not to cut any of the strands while stripping the wire. Also, my crimper isn't designed for wires this small. After some cussin and fussin, I got it done.
I also took some time to document all wire colors, verify all connections, and begin creating interconnect drawings on excel for future maintenance and repair reference.
