Dave and I teamed up to cleco the canopy skins to the frame. One drilled and one clecoed. We used two different size clecos because I only had 100 3/16" and 100 1/8" clecos. They are placed between 2 and 3 inches apart.
As we clecoed them to the frame, I cut them to length. Once the skins were all in place, we traced the inside edge to create a cut line 1/4" outside of this line. This will be sanded to final shape once the canopy is reinstalled.
Once the skins were removed from the frame, Dave marked a line 1" inside of the upper row of clecos. This shapes the upper edge of the canopy skin where is meets the canopy.
